Interfaith News Update -- January Newsletter (contributed by Carole Reyes)
December 6th was the Clarke Broadcasting's Cash Drive for Interfaith. All monies raised will be matched by the Council of the Chicken Ranch Rancheria up to $80,000. On December 6th, $57,235 was raised. By the end of December 7, a record-breaking totals of $140,000 had been raised!
December 7 was also the day of the Coat Drive. Over a thousand coats were received.
Interfaith director Cathie Peacock was extremely grateful, "The community response is amazing!"
Interfaith sees an estimated 1,800 different people each month coming in to receive food and other services. The Mother Lode community stepped up in a big way to help those less fortunate in Tuolumne County.
Thank you all again for your continued support.
Respectfully, Carole Reyes
