Cathie Peacock, Interfaith Executive Director. 209-532-0905 Interfaith News Update -- October Newsletter (contributed by Tony and Carole Reyes) Interfaith is in NEED of Adult Men's and Women's coats. If you bring them to Mount Calvary, Carole Reyes will pick them up. Interfaith will start selling See's Candy the Monday after Thanksgiving through December 24th if the candy holds out that long. So get your Christmas and hostess gifts from us. We appreciate it !! Many times when patients come into the ER at Adventist Health, their clothes are ruined. ICSS has started providing a monthly allotment of clothing for that situation. It is working out well and the hospital is very appreciative. Since the WATCH program cannot come into our building because of the COVID-19 virus, they have made up Halloween treats for the grocery bags. What a great idea. Clarke Broadcasting will be sponsoring a modified version of the Cash and Coat Drive this year for interfaith. They will advertise the event but all activity will be done at Interfaith. The "drive by" event will begin November23 and run through December 5th. Coats and cash may be dropped off during that time. We are seeing an increase int the number of clients we serve. The woodlot department has 55 signups for this winter. Legal Services had 24 new clients in September. And the pantry is very busy. Thank you all for your donations and prayers. Stay Safe !!!! Thanks again for your support in so many ways Respectfully, Tony and Carole Reyes |
